Sad Songs

Sad songs exist for a reason.

For sad people to indulge in, and to express the innermost feelings of sad people that they find hard to say themselves.

Sad love songs kill. They are true, but they kill. They kill the innermost souls of sad people, because they sing out loud feelings that sad people are afraid of or refrain from saying.

People who don't understand nor appreciate sad songs... are probably not sad people themselves. Good for them.

Sad people play sad songs that sing about their emotional demons that are plagueing them at that very moment. And they play them over and over and over again. They play the songs in their minds over and over again from the moment they wake. And until they fall asleep at night... if they ever do.

The music industry thrives on the sad people of the whole goddamn world. How many happy songs can you name? And the music world is booming.

This is how many sad people there are in this goddamn world.
